Charles Robertson's company, KBS, has an office in New Smyrna Beach in Florida. The company also does business in China and Africa. It is dedicated to research and development, expanding manufacturing of Concrete Reinforcement Bars strategically to the market, and the supply and promotion of the increased use of GBar Reinforcement Bars (GFRP) Bars, Dowels, Rods, Mats and Bolts. Since 2008, it has been a verified veteran-owned small business (VOSB). In the past, he served as the COO of Steel Homes and Whitepoint Homes in Summerville, SC.
Having rendered 20 years in service to the US army, Charles R. Robertson has received multiple awards. Now based in New Smyrna Beach, he graduated with an Excellence in Entrepreneurship award from the University of Central Florida in 2017. Other awards he has received over the years include the 2002 and 2003 Steel Home Design Award from Metal Homes Digest. He was also featured in magazines such as Residential Design and Build, Builder and Developer, Design/Build Business, Big Builder, and other publications.
